Comedy my arse!

The remote control bit was waaaay too over the top imo, the rest was only ok.

I loved the earlier ones, cos I could totally relate to it

I really enjoyed it, though not as much as the older episodes. Did you watch the documentary thing afterwards? Some great clips in that.

Because I was watching it recorded on Sky+ I only realised that the documentary was on when it was announced over the end credits. By which time it was 10.50 and there were only 25 minutes left of it. Had I thought about it I would have realised that I could have rewinded at least half an hour as it was still on the same channel.

I've never been a fan of the Royle Family... Maybe I just don't get it. Albeit I've only ever watched it once - I seldom watch tv really. Am I missing out? Or does it take a certain mind set to find it funny?

I'd love to watch more tv, I'm sure I'm missing out on good programs. From what I've seen the actors in RF do play really well - I just didn't really "get it"

If I ever spend more time in the UK I might have to getmyself a digital receiver just to see if there are decent programs on.

There are a couple of things. You just have to dig through a mountain of reality TV to find it :/
