Default Transformers *may at some point contain some minor plot information*

Went to see this tonight and I must say it truly rocked, I kinda by-passed the original series, I not entirely sure why, maybe I was a little old for it but this adaptation is quite surprisingly good.

Admittedly you need to switch your brain off a bit but it has everything you could want in an action movie; action, explosions, comedy, cool cars (I love the Solstice in Forza and it makes a cool Autobot too ), cute girls and bloody great big robots.

I seriously recommend this one, so much so I actually went to the cinema to see it

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG and I think also OMG.

Just back from seeing this at the cinema, albeit with a slight detour to the pub on the way back...

What a well produced film that was

Had my concerns about it to be honest, with people mentioning the humour and stuff, but I've got to agree, the humour worked and was perfectly balanced for the action.

I felt a bit at times like they liked the close angle camera shots almost too much for the fight sequences, occasionally I lost track of who was the bad guy and who was the good guy, and felt I was missing some of the possible skill and beauty behind what they were doing as a consequence.

I can tell I'm missing a lot of good films right now. Doesn't feel right going to the cinema on my own, and especially as the nearest cinema is an hour away (they keep telling us they're going to be building a local one 'next year' )

Seen the trailers though and I'd like to see this, as well as several other films mentioned here recently.

That kinda sucks given the size of the town you live in. I'm stunned you haven't got a decent cinema around.

I rather deliberately held out for this film, despite knowing there were decent rips out there. I knew this was worth the silver screen treatment and I'm glad I saw it as such because anything less just wouldn't have quite done it justice IMO

LOL @ the Beagle 2 references in the trailer I just watched.

Aye - we used to have a cinema but it was an old-school place - too small and too old for anyone to make a go of. It's now an LA Fitness. :/
