Ahhhh, pentapeptides
What would we do without them?
Had _anyone_ ever heard of them before the Oil of Ulay adverts? Did they invent them, just to sound scientific? I think we should be told, it's a conspiracy I say.

You old cynic, they were the best kept secret no-one realised until now. How can they not be great?
Oh and no, I'd never heard of them, nor do I really expect to hear of them again once the initial fuss dies down.

Peptides are essentially proteins, chains of amino acids. Pentapeptides are chains of 5 amino acids. (proteins are formed by peptides that are many amino acids in length, which subsequently fold up due to interactions between the amino acids).
Its just marketing talk for a compound they have put in to the mix that has a marketable name I guess... Although failing that, im pretty sure it is a conspiracy

So people are trying to sell you products that turn your skin into scales? Niiiice!
I'm afraid I find all these moisturiser, anti-ageing creams, and other such stuff a bit of a crock of **** :/
