Default Which FPS?

I've played lots of these (these are the only PC games I really enjoy bar Civilisation which I loved, and Lucasarts adventure games (also Sierra ones)).

However I've lost track a little of what's out there - can you recommend me some that would be worth having a go?

I've got HL1 & HL2 (and getting the extra chapters)
I've got all the Doom series
I've got all the Quake series
I've got Mafia
I've got XIII (really good actually! )
I've got MoH (plus add ons)
I've got COD & COD2
I've got Splinter Cell 1&2
I've got both Deus Ex
I've got both Max Paynes
I've got Return to Castle Wolfenstein too.

What ones do I need to try? I don't care if they are a little old, but I'm keen to try new ones too

I seem to remember in another thread that you'd already mentioned Farcry. That would make a pretty good addition. You've actually named most of the FPS's I would have recommended, but I would add Clive Barker's Undying to the list. Getting on a little, but swinging a mighty scythe and decapitating people can't be beat! I wouldn't recommend the later Splinter Cell games as you'll probably be disappointed like I was.

Edit: How could I forget my favouritest game/s of all time - Thief and Thief II! Sadly feeling their age now, but they're far superior to the second sequel, Deadly Shadows, although that one would probably run best on a modern machine.

Oh and I how could I forget, I've also got the Jedi Knight series too Hey come on you get to use the force and use a lightsaber!

Is FEAR and/or STALKER worthwhile?

FEAR played like poop on my PC, although it was a couple of years old when it came out, but I seem to remember it is graphics hungry. STALKER is worth a buy at budget price but it does feel a bit like a 90% finished game. If you do a search you'll probably find my review of it in the main thread we had.

Oh, and if you don't have it already, Jedi Academy is definitely worth a go. You can choose your own dark/light powers as you progress and it has some great moments where you accidentally pull off some awesome combinations of moves and will no doubt bellow 'I AM OBI-WAN!!!!'. (It's 3rd person though, Max Payne style.)

Painkiller is fun if you enjoy the "switch your brain off" type games. I'd also recommend Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, built using the Source engine and very very good
