Liverpool & Edinburgh, city skylines, silhouettes, but LARGE!
I'm looking for a nice silhouette skyline of Edinburgh and Liverpool for something i'm working on but i'm not doing so well so far...
I've only tried google images because i can't think of anywhere else reliable to search images since i don't normally do this. Best i can find is this and this which look perfect but are piddly small. I was thinking i may just get a skyline picture and try and silhouette it myself with PSP but that could be tricky and have dubious results... Any help muchly appricited! |

You tried altavista image search? They allow you to select only wallpaper size images or even certain resolutions.

I'm thinking about some kind of rasterbation to put on my wall, to remind me of my two loves (and homes) Edinburgh & Liverpool But so far the images i've got aren't really doing the stereotypical landscapes/skylines any justice

Ah right. Well you'd need to get permission from the original author to do a print from your wall. I do happen to know someone who takes stunning photos of Liverpool, and has just taken some great ones of Edinburgh too

Right after a lot of searching, i think i know what i'm after that sums it up for me. Liverpool is either the cathedrals, or the Liver Buildings & St Johns tower (Radio city tower) i think... Probably rather the Liver Buildings.
Edinburgh is definitely the castle and maybe scotts monument or the castle and something else noteworthy? They have to be pretty easy to make out as a silhouette. I assume i'm going to be blacking this out myself now because i really can't find anything decent i like as a silhouette... |

Liverpool is easy. Edinburgh, well I just didn't really want to take the standard images while I was here so I don't actually have any with the castle. I do have some nice shots though.
