I have no idea why but I find that really unsettling. I can appreciate the technological genius behind it but it makes me *shudder*. Weird!

I saw this video a very long time ago and their party trick was giving it a boot in the side and watching it recover itself and the ice walk. Flicking through the notes on the link it seems like they've had some funding, the new bits in the video are the really skaty bit on the ice and the walking it over the blocks. Great bit of kit but definitely look slike a couple of skinny blokes in a mechatronic costume

i did think that, especially when it was walking up the hill in the forest bit, it looks like two blokes, one forwards and one backwards.
