Default Diffuser

You know those times when you realise you could do with having something and you don't have it?

Yeah, sister's prom tonight and she'll be wanting some pictures, which i'm guessing will be outside the venue, whereby I can't just do my usual trick of 'hooray bounce the flash' and everything is nice.

So, i'll be requiring a diffuser.

I have two options.

Make one.

Pester a mate, go to town and hope Jessops/LCE have some.

I wish I was more prepared sometimes.

Make one.

Ive seen one before, it was done by using one of those little plastic hook things you find in supermarkets to hang up bananas? Seemed to work a treat

I dont eat bananas, nor do I spend much time near them in supermarkets so i'm afraid i'm little lost on the hook front.

*hits up google for some ideas*

Ta, i'd just looked at that, unfortunately, I don't think it'll quite fit over my SB-600

I'm pondering whether a milk bottle or an ice cream tub will make the best diffuser...

Insulation tape, as i've now discovered, however not before my SB-600 got a liberal coating of blood.
