DVI - Dual Link / Single Link
WTF is the difference here?
Looking at getting a new graphics card, in which case I may well grab a DVI cable at the same time, as everything I have atm is VGA. Also, what is nVidia's dual monitor support like compared to ATi?

Single Link is fine up to 1920x1200. Dual Link is really only needed for professional monitors like the 30" Apple and Dell displays.

Now I just need to convince myself I can afford to randomly spend £45 on an 8800GS
