Damn you American TV exec's
Was looking at who is directing the new Terminator film and figured I would see what else he has done when I found this - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1143914/
I feel like flying over to America and beating the network execs to a pulp |

Made against Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg's wishes too iirc from an article I read a few months ago.
They've had no input in it and had no idea it was happening. Unfortunately it's something to do with the rights and they can't do anything about it

Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson created Spaced. When they signed their contracts they didn't have the clout to keep the rights to it. Granada tv sold the rights to Fox in America to make the show. Fox didn't even bother talking to Pegg, Stevenson or Wright about it yet put their names in the press release. Pegg is unhappy, Spaced fans are unhappy.
