How do I determine the timing and/or any strumming pattern from this sheet?

You don't, but strumming is pretty intuitive and there is an assumption that you can work out the timings for yourself. Following the chord changes in time with the words can help

There is no way to determine strumming pattern from chord sheets like that. Very few bits of tab tend to include that detail, it's assumed you'll know the song already in your head at least. If you can hear the tempo and feel of the song in your head you should be able to make a stab at an appropriate strum for it. Slow the song down, take your time and 'feel' it. About the best advise I can give is to not let your right hand stop, always keep it moving up and down, just choose whether or not to hit the strings with each movement (just a slight twist of your wrist stops the pick from hitting the strings for the most part.)

From the lyrics. Strum up on "I's" and down on "A's"

7 years of strumming along to songs, and 6 years of leading worship... yeah a little bit Only really now starting to bother branching my technique out a little into things like finger picking Going to try and get some lessons sorted out soon too for lead guitar stuff. I'm not that disciplined so attempts to teach myself fail miserably, though that said I taught myself rhythm guitar.
