Default CEX Shop

Just noticed in my rear view mirror as I drove through town that we have aquired a CEX, must have appeared in the last few days. Are these any good? They always look like gaming versions of Cash Converters when I'd seen them else where, are they likely to have good deals and offer better trade in that say Blockbuster Games?

You can check their website to find out what prices you'll get for your trade ins so they're pretty good in that respect. You can also trade stuff in by posting it to them!

As for the shops themselves I haven't been in a CEX since I lived in London about 10 years ago, I used to use them quite a bit back then.

I wish we had one here, they are great for trades, but only sell second hand too. Thankfully we have a pretty localish company called Grainger Games which seems pretty good.

I wish we had one here too All we've got is Game and Gamestation, both of which are pretty crap these days with one hiring patronising staff and the other hiring idiots.

I love CEX. They're not the cheapest when it comes to 2nd hand games, but their trade in prices are hard to beat (and generally their cash prices are better than the trade in prices from Gamestation). The shop in Liverpool is full of friendly knowledgeable staff as well, and they're a good laugh (I think I'm getting known in there now) which always makes it nicer to shop there
