Whee, it's all on the go now :D
today I took and passed my bike Theory Test (31/35 and 65/75), which is nice, because it would have been a reet squeeze to fit another one in in time for my test.
I've got my CBT tomorrow, and I bought all my kit today jacket, lid, gloves and booties, £329. He didn't charge me for the gloves. It's all quite decent kit - budgetish, but not cheap crap. My family tend to trust the dude that runs the closest bike shop to us, he's been selling stuff to us for a long time and he's a good fella, he gave me a lot of advice and so on and was very honest about some of the stuff he stocked being total pish budget crap, so I think I did ok. The rest of my training and my test is next weeked, the sunday monday and test on tuesday. I'm all excited! Nervous though. I WANT TO RIDE MY BIKE! *stomps around in bike gear making brrm brrm noises*

Looks like good kit - but I have to say I'd still get some leathers, or leather based clothing - even though textile stuff is pretty much as good now.
What sort of trousers you getting? Bear in mind your legs are usually the things that get trapped under a bike at times. Congrats on the theory, and how did you do on the CBT? I'm sure you passed with flying colours

The CBT went fine, I got picked up a couple of times on the ride out for road positioning (taking left turns from pretty much the centre of my lane, oops) and a couple of times I stuffed up my gear choice, but nothing major. I didn't stall it or bin it all day, thankfully I popped into a bike shop on the way home for a gander and a new contender has appeared on my list of bikes to think about getting... umnyumnyumnyum!
