Default Catan for XBL

I'm seriously thinking about buying this, I played the demo last night and its really fun. I've never played Settlers of Catan the board game but from whatI have seen like Uno its pretty much the same as the physical game but just allows you to play online

Anyone else got or considering getting this?

Or have you played the board game?

I played the trial a couple of night ago, but was tired and couldn't really get my head around the intricacies of the game. Was a bit put off by the apparent long length of a single game, I like my arcade games short and sweet.

I keep meaning to try out the demo, it looks quite good.
Not enough points spare to buy atm but I'll see what the demo's like.

Yeah its a good 30 minutes to play a game I think but its definately the kind of game I like, something which requires some brain power but with enough luck that a player of a level below another can still give them a good run for their money

Something like this I think I'd prefer to play the actual board game. Kinda like Monopoly, never really got on with digital versions of that, to me it's a game that needs players round a table.

I can understand that, although for me its not something easy to do, find another 3 like minded players who are available at the same time for a game.

What I would really like to see for XBL is Mah Jong, I never get a chance to play that and I really like it :undecided:

Same here, I haven't played Monopoly for years. Just not the same onine

Anyway, as for Catan, I'll give it another shot soon. At the moment I'm torn between Assault Heroes, Zuma or holding out for Sonic as my next arcade purchase.

I hope you're thinking the multiplayer version rather than the tile matching game
