Spec me a camera!
I have an ancient Fuji Finepix 2 megapixel camera that is beginning to show it's age. Can anyone recommend a cheap (sub £100) camera, preferably one with storage included and a docking station, i know i'm probably asking for a bit much though .

Thanks, definately looks like i'm aiming a bit high with my requirements though. Just remembered that my laptop has a multi card reader thing on so not too bothered about a docking station now. Looks like i can get a Fujifilm FinePix A610 for around £70 delivered + 4GB SD card for around £25. Any comments on that?

Ive read a few reviews and there really isnt much between all of the compact cameras around that price
If you could push your budget little more the finepix S5600 seems to be a very good deal and you are getting alot more bang for ya bucks with a camera like that Just check the Storage size for that Fujifilm FinePix A610 as everything i read seemed to show 2gb max |

It's another 45 quid though which is quite a lot extra considering the A610 was only 70. I didn't realise there was a size limitation on the camera though so that could well sway me a little. Is there anything that helps with redeye on the S5600?

I don't think you can really get a decent sub £100 camera these days. 4 years ago they had the Canon A70 for £99 but they don't seem to do that sorta thing now.

I'm leaning towards the S5600 pretty heavily at the moment. Will do a few checks later on what else i can get for that sort of money .

5600 is a very capable camera for the money and sits in the 'bridge' territory between a compact and a DSLR, you'll have loads of options and a good zoom with that. As for red eye I'll put money on it having a red eye setting and I believe there are plenty of free photo editors which do red eye
