Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows *****WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS*****
Right, it's predictions right now but as of Saturday it'll all be live and I know some of us are interested enough to talk about this.
J.K. Rowling has said some things which are of relevance for the new book, I'm going to list the ones I can remember here. I will add stuff as I think of it. Nothing here is concrete, there are no actual spoilers yet, just feelings and thoughts. Spoiler Alert! - Highlight below to read! Aunt Petunia will be important. Luna will be much more involved. Dumbledore is dead, he's not coming back but she has mentioned recently that 'Dumbledore' is causing her problems. This could be either the portrait version or possibly Aberforth Dumbledore, Albus' brother. Dudley is just what he seems. What happened during the missing 24 hours between James and Lily being killed and Harry being dropped at the Dursleys? Who was at Godricks Hollow the night Voldemort killed James and Lily? Harry's eyes, and the "you have your mother's eyes" comments. It's being widely reported that two characters will die. This is incorrect. JKR actually said that she's written in an extra two deaths - I'm pretty sure that there will be more than just two important character deaths. Peter Pettigrew owes Harry a debt for saving his life, will it be repayed? Snape - Good or Evil? I predict that all three of the trio (Harry, Ron and Hermione) will survive. End Spoiler Alert!

Theory of Mics:
Spoiler Alert! - Highlight below to read! Malfory will be a key part in Voldemort's downfall, possibly even the "hero" and the person who kills/stops him. I like the idea the kid who shares Harrys birthday who I've forgotten the name off will have something more important to do/happen End Spoiler Alert! |

Spoiler Alert! - Highlight below to read!
You're thinking of Neville Longbottom. He does have an important role to play as his parents are both in St. Mungos having been tortured to insanity by Belatrix Lestrange 15 years previously. I think he's going to get his revenge. I also wonder about Draco, but he won't kill Voldmort. Remember the prophecy. End Spoiler Alert!

Slightly off topic...
Do you feel too manly to read Harry Potter? Then print off your own book cover! (possibly NSFW) http://www.pointlesswasteoftime.com/pottercovers.html You can continue now.

The last one in that link is brilliant.
I'm not even going to read any theories before I read the last book. I know people like to try and work these things out but I prefer to not think about it and be completely surprised. That said, I am wondering if something mentioned in passing in Chamber of Secrets is going to be a part of the plot in the final book.

No theories! Stop trying to make me think!
I seem to remember from an age-old post on OcUK that you were more than certain about one thing, and this thing I've spotted goes against that. Therefore it will be extremely interesting to see if anything comes of it!

Seems a copy has appeared on bittorrent but I'm sure we'll both be getting a copy. Might even shufty down to the local waterstones at middnight Friday.

I know very little of Potter-world, but I think Voldemort 'killed' Harry's parents like Darth Vader 'killed' Anakin Skywalker.
