Thumbs up Bourne Ultimatum...

Just got in from seeing it. *nice early preview screening*

Supremely good film. Loved it.

Finishes the story off nicely. There better not be a 4th - would cock with the story now.

Some annoyances - mainly with the filming and editing. Someone please buy the DP a steadicam! Also, not a fan of a lot of fast edits...

But, other than that. Beautifully done. Paul Greengrass seriously knows how to hold tension throughout the film - and in some films it doesn't work, it did work very well in this.

Matt Damon was great, really seemed to be into the role and had the feel of someone who could look around a room and spot anyone and who was watching them.

David Strathairn was creepy as hell and Joan Allen was again great as Pamela Landy.

It does help a lot seeing the first two, but knowing the plotlines would help a hell of a lot if you haven't seen them. Just gives you a bit of back story.

Go see it.

I cant WAIT to see this and if I don't get to a cinema for it I'll be really really disappointed. The first two are easily in my top 10 films, 1st one definitely in the top five

MIght have to break out an Orange Wednesday and see this soon! Read all the Ludlum books (and all the none Bourne ones), loved the movies so far and am thoroughly looking forward to this one. This is how spy movies should be!

First film i have ever actually felt seasick watching. Probably didn't help that we were right at the front of the packed cinema but seriously BUY A DAMN STEADY CAM! I had to look away, not because it was rubbish but because i was going to throw up into the popcorn.

Other than the overly shaky cinematography i thought it was well good.
8/10 (-2 for the seasicky feeling)

I never realised there were other people who felt like that, I thought it was just one of my friends afflictions rather than something other people suffered from.

I enjoyed the film for the most part, very good direction and stunts but I feel there is something missing that prevents it being great. That could be my unwillingness to accept a film as great having only watched it once but it isn't a film that I could watch over and over which I feel is something that a great film should withstand.

I watched it this weekend. I loved it. The steady-cam problem didn't last too long as I was so engrossed by the constant action. I was tired when I left the cinema!! I'd watch it again - I thought it was great - maybe a little TOO much action all the time made it a little knackering to watch but all in all completes the fabulous trilogy in awesome perfectness!
