Might be worth a spoiler tag on that please - although as it happens someone else already told me.

George Shuter looks like he'd have fit right in in the Spartan army

We've been out all day so couldn't watch it, but never was I expecting to come home and find us through!

Totally agree - and even though I'm at work, I have a DVD player right next to me.

What the chuff happened?

How the hell did we win that one? After nearly losing to the USA int he first match we go and beat Australia?!?!

Lets hope we get France not New Zealand then. We've got a chance of beating the garlic munching surrender monkeys.

Right, (just back from celebrating!), we did it in the same manner as 4 years ago. The Australian game is good, but they do have problems. Because of things like Aussie Rules they are great at some parts of the Union game (like passing, running, kicking), but as they lack a decent base of players they tend to have problems in important areas.

We beat them for power as their scrum is weak. When attacking, Aus looked strong but simply didn't have the power to stop us when we were attacking. This means we (going for power rather than style) got a lot of penalties given to us.

Also, 4 years ago I remember watching some hairy performances from us during the group stages too (I think it was during the group stages).

Always best to peak later, rather than sooner.

I don't care if we lose any more games. Beating Aus was the most important thing for me.

Well done Ingerlund - bit of a surprise result there but nicely done.

Let's hope us Jocks can do the same against the Pumas tomorrow.

I have no idea who will come out on top tomorrow. Argentina have been fantastic, but then Scotland have played really well (aside from against New Zealand of course). Even playing Italy with most decent players being rested they've still managed to come out on top.

Argentina have been full of confidence and Scotland have been playing very attackign rugby. £10 says Argentina target Paterson. If he gets shut down, I think Scotland will struggle.
