Default Anyone heard from Mel?

Just reading about all the fires in California and suddenly remembered that Mel is in the area! Anyone got any news? I think she moved into the city from her last house

She's in Northern California, well away from the fires The fires are near LA not SF.

Heh not to worry I heard it on the radio and noticed they were talking about movie star's homes and knew that definitely wasn't SF

SF > LA. Of course anyone losing their homes is bad, and I hope no-one does, but of the two, I know which one I like the least.

I can name a few places that'd give SF serious competition (Sydney for one), but granted, there aren't very many.

I do love SF, but NY's pretty damned awesome as are some places in the Med, and in Asia and Africa... It's a toughie...

Mel's on holiday or was on holiday for her birthday recently - she's fine

Have to be honest and say I forgot about our new San Diego office.

San Diego County is in the worst affected area. No-one has come to any harm but the office is (rightly) closed and some of the staff have received evacuation orders.
