Question Do I need a passport to fly to Ireland?

One for the frequent flyers!

I'm due to fly over to Cork in a couple of weeks - Do I need my passport or will my drivers license do?

They're Eurozone aren't they? I'm pretty sure you do, but to be doubly sure I'd check with the airline. Which airline is it?

If it's Ryanair, I'm pretty sure they insist on it.

It is Ryanair yeah. Their site doesn't make it clear though:

Splendid Dee'll tell you, I'm useless at finding things!

I'll keep looking for my passport anyway, but I know I can make plans regardless. Thanks guys

Just to make sure that was interpreted correctly - flying from England to Ireland you almost certainly do need a passport. It's only domestic flights in either country where you don't (though you might be OK crossborder between Ireland and NI too). Remember that only NI is a part of the UK, so the Republic doesn't count as domestic within the UK.

I was going to say... if you have one you should take it.

But you don't. And you are a noob

Good luck finding it!

I found it, panic over!

I still look like a gimp in it though. Mind you, doesn't everyone?
