Love Gone in 60 secs

Knowing was a particularly **** film.

Well, would've been fine if there was a different ending.

Con Air, The Rock and Face/Off are the holy trilogy of Nicolas Cage action films. Snake Eyes is his best though IMO.

Agreed - but Gone in 60 Seconds is also worthy of a mention IMO.

edit: see it's already been mentioned...

Actually, I may have meant 'trinity', though 'trilogy' kind of works in this context I guess!

Captain America

The only film that I could award the rating: OK.

A boy cannot get into the army through the proper channels so is selected for an alternative route and Captain America is born!!!

The best bit was the end :/ (those who have watched it will know what I mean) and Tommy Lee Jones.

6/10

Nicholas Cage is mega He makes me laugh!! Desired affect? Who knows! Either way it's entertainment!

He falls in the same category as Arnold Schwarznegger and Jason Statham!! They're manufactured for films that promise nothing but what you expect - stupendous duff brain consumption!

Avengers

10/10

Perfect blend. Great film, solid action.

Spoiler Alert! - Highlight below to read!

God damn you Whedon, you had to kill him didn't you? You gave him a name just so you could kill him. What is your obsession with building up characters and then killing them?!?

End Spoiler Alert!

Nic Cage...... oh how he has fallen. Back in the day 'Raising Arizona', 'Wild at Heart' and 'Leaving Las Vegas' and now it's a cheesefest!

Avengers... for the first 20mins odd I was a bit "hmmm... not sure this is living up to what I had hoped it to be"....

30mins onwards... Awesome!
