Default CoD: World at War

As I think nearly everyone's anticipating it on here
Just seen the Collector's Edition has been announced, and it's looking good. Hope we get an identical one here.

Quote:
Goodies included are:

* Call of Duty: World at War videogame (surprise!)
* World at War branded canteen
* FG 42 Machine Gun available on Day 1 (Usually a Level 45+ weapon)
* One week of Double-XP goodness (Actual week unknown)
* Colored Clan Tag (In-game multiplayer character indicator)
* Stylish tin box to place above-listed treats

So far only the Xbox 360 and PC have had Collector's Editions confirmed. The Xbox 360 edition will retail for $80 while the PC will ask $70 for the set.

Nice selection there. I know I'd be tempted

For me the best part of this is the multiplayer 7 kill reward

I'm actually not too bothered about this. It's not done by Infinity Ward, and it's World War 2 again. I mean come on, surely they can think of something other than WW2 for the setting? WW2 has been done to death. The only thing that may interest me is if the multiplayer is as good as CoD4, but that'll be the only thing really.

It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

I am kind of coming from the opposite end of the spectrum on this. Usually if I buy a Shooter it is for the multiplayer only and very rarely play the single player campaign. I enjoyed the single player campaign a lot more than MP. MP On COD 4 is just a lot of wash rinse and repeat. At least on the PC anyway. I hope the single player is as good in World at War as it was on COD 4

How many players are there on a COD 4 server out of interest on console ?

no idea how many on the servers, you just have the game lobbies with the 12 players.

Ahh right, I wasn't aware how the dynamic of multiplayer worked on console. On PC you can have upto 64 people at anyone time on a server. I am no expert on console so I suspect that On X360 it's more like P2P rather than everyone connecting to a dedicated game server ?
