It's the only time worth playing! .

Tesco are doing it for £30 this weekend only, worth picking up for that price if you like footy games.

Thanks to selling a few more games than I expected, I've just taken advantage of this offer Been years since I bought a football game at launch but the be a pro and manager modes swung it for me. Just seems to be the complete package Plus looks like it'll take a while to master which'll be nice.

I have a feeling that if I go online I'm going to get my ass handed to me Although saying that, started manager mode last night and Newcastle are currently top of the table

Forgot to mention, Adidas Live Season alone may be the reason Fifa will win this battle with PES as it's truly brilliant. Everyone gets a month for free (all codes are the same too) and you get to choose which league you want to trial for a month, where after you pay, per month for any, or all leagues you want.

I had a quick scan at some players just to see what it's like and it gives you arrows (up, up right, right, down-right and down) to describe that players rating that week, a rating out of 100 (usual player rating) and last weeks rating. You can also check the team of the week.

The points are pretty much bang on with some players going up and others down. Players like Geovanni, Rooney, Ronaldo, Carragher and Torres are all on ups after good showings at the weekend, other players like Carrick, Drogba, Lescott on downers - the team of the week basically representing accurately performers from last weekend too. It's great!

Loving the game, few bugs that need ironing out but overall its tonking PES, tried the 2009 demo and its hardly change the gameplay is exactly the same as 2008, might buy it for £15 next year.

Personally I think its a fad and a waste of money, I was looking for something more in depth, not impressed even with a free trail.

You actually get a a whole season free according to the manual, for one league. Seems pretty cool, I'll be trying it out properly later

Oh right, never thought to read the manual, I just read the rumours on the net pre-release and that's what the talk was. If it's the whole season then that's great!
