Xbox 360- £99, Wii - £149.97 360 arcade - £169.97 @ sainsbury tomorrow

MCV are reporting that from tomorrow Sainsbury's will have the 360 Arcade and Premium for £99.97 and £139.97 respectively and the Nintendo Wii for £149.97

"MCV sources have revealed that Sainsburys are set to aggressively cut the price of Wii and 360 hardware.

As of tomorrow morning, the supermarket chain will reportedly cut the Nintendo Wii from £179.97 to £149.97, whilst the Xbox 360 Arcade is to be dropped from £129.97 to £99.97. The Xbox 360 60GB is also going to be reduced from £169.97 to £139.97.

The deals are set to run between October 3rd and October 12th. "

And it looks like Hexus.net has confirmed the news;

"A UK price war is about to begin, spurred on by retail chain, Sainsburys, who have this afternoon confirmed to HEXUS.gaming that there will be substantial price cuts on both its Xbox 360 and Wii consoles.

Speaking to the its customer service helpline, Sainsbury's confirmed that as from Friday 03rd October, running up until October 12th, the Xbox 360 Arcade version will be available for just £99.97(previously £129.97), with the 60GB model offered at just £139.97 (reduced from £169.97). "
