In the hands of a responsible owner, any dog can be well behaved and controlled. It's when you get the idiots who use dogs as a status symbol is where the problems occur.

For the record, my mates sister had a rotty and he was a bloody good dog, never really barked at anyone and was as soft as poo poo.
