Pancake Day aka Shrove Tuesday
So who is going to make a some pancake mix and pig out on pancakes.
My favourite filling is some sugar or jam. Its also the start of Lent, anybody giving up anything. I am giving up Alcohol its perfect timing as I will be able to start drinking on my birthday. Quote:

We'll be having some tomorrow
Best one I had was a stall in Chelmsford. Cooked it fresh and put Maltesers in it I think I'll just be having a touch of lemon and sugar tomorrow, although we do have some syrup and honey in the cupboard too.

You need some salt too, and add a some nutmeg or cinnamon. Once I've got the batter ready I melt some butter to pour in to add a bit of richness.
Alcohol is too easy to give up for me as I seldom drink. I don't know what I'd give up... chocolate maybe - that would make life hard!
