Default I've bought a big, gay hairdresser's car

for the missus

Nov 2002 car, only the 180bhp version but the missus didn't seem bothered by this, personally I would have gone for the 225

I wasn't sure re the leather colour but it looks loads better in real life, the leather looks a bit rough in photos but wasn't in relaity

Paid £6.950 for it, this was the asking price but have got him them to do a cambelt swap, refurb all 4 wheels and a couple of bits of cosmetic work on exterior, I would imagine that is 500 quids worth of stuff

The number plate has been left on, can't decide whether to put it on retention and try and flog it or just bin it in case I can't recover the costs involved

The TT is a nice little car.

Not bad given the chassis is the same as that of a VW Golf (Volkswagen Group A platform)

hell of a lot for a glorified golf, they seem to hold value well though

More than a little...

But you already know that.

I do like the leather though. But I've got red and black leather so I'm not one to judge.

Same here, always loved the TT, though I prefer the newer style as it reminds me a little of the Nissan 350Z in terms of looks.
