*****Gaming Giveaway*****
Competition winners announced below
After the great piece of generosity from Zico that I benefited from, I thought I'd give away a few bits and pieces that I've acquired. Thought I'd do it with a twist though and have a little quiz Below are five partial images of five popular and well known games from over the years. All you have to do is guess them correctly! Prizes Dark Void figurine (still boxed and probably better than the actual game ) Infinite Undiscovery on 360 (promotional copy so no manual) Mini Ninjas on PS3 (as above, promotional copy) Order of War on PC with soundtrack and mousemat Sega Messenger Bag (pretty sure you could fit a laptop in there!) Ground rules: Exact answers are needed except in the case of image 3 where series title is appropriate (oooh hint!) PM your answers to me rather than post in here for obvious reasons. I'll reply asap to confirm I've received your entry. The competition closes 5pm Friday 12th March, any PMs received after this will NOT be counted. Competition winners will be announced in this thread at 6pmish Friday 12th March and PMs will be sent out. The first person to get all 5 correct gets first choice of what prize they want, and so on and so forth until I'm out of prizes. If no one gets all 5 then most correct answers gets first pick etc. Any other questions, please do ask in the thread Having not done a giveaway of any sort, I've probably missed something The quiz Image 1: Image 2: Image 3: Image 4: Image 5: Have fun

One addition to the rules as someone just asked:
You can change your answer if required. As before, answer changes must be done before 5pm Friday. Thanks

Numbers 1 and 2 perchance? I've got the last 3 easily enough, struggling a little on the first 2, though they certainly ring a bell.
Edit: Scratch that, I'm certain I know all of them now, just need to nail the exact game in a couple of places.

Cheers for the prod divine Knew I'd forget
The results: Game 1 is Goldeneye for the N64 Game 2 is The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the SNES Game 3 is Streets of Rage 2 for the Sega Megadrive Game 4 is Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Megadrive Game 5 is Street Fighter 2 for the SNES Winners I underestimated you lot as there were a lot of correct answers! Knew I should have gone with harder choices and not dropped Turrican and Buck Rogers: Countdown to Doomsday Anyways, in order of who answered all five correctly fastest: Leowyatt Nokkonwud divine Pumpkinstew karbon Congrats all! And commiserations to those who were correct but didn't get there in time. As per the ground rules, the first person who got all 5 correct gets first choice and so on. But if you five winners could list the prizes in order of what you'd most like in this thread, it'll save us all a bit of time PM me your addresses and I'll get prizes sent out next week.

Holy monkey faces, I answered after only a few hours, leo and nokkon must have been supremely on the ball!!
Very generous compo though, thanking you kindly, was quite excited waiting for the results! As for prize order... Order of War then Sega bag then DV figurine, I don't have a 360 or a PS3 so I wouldn't really get much out of the other two!

Woo hoo. Wasn't entirely sure on Sonic 2, but happy with it.
I know which one I want, hopefully Leo doesn't take it first. |
