Holiday - Cheap Drink in Barcelona
Hi,
I am off to Barcelona at the week end to watch the F1 ( no Ash clouds hopefully ! ) and after the racing I am hoping to go out in the evening in Barcelona. I have heard that some bars offer drinks from 1 Euro up wards ! Does any know where the cheap bars are located. I am staying not far from centre of Barcelona and Les Rambles. Many thanks

Beware the muggers. Barcelona is a fab city, but just be wary of them. My Mum got mugged when we went there together a few years back. As soon as Mum realised what happened, she marched down the road after the lady, and mugged the mugger back!
 We didn't find any drinks that cheap or I would have let you know, oh and things don't get busy in the bars until well after 9pm just for your info.

I don't wish to sound negative but with a big event like a GP on, I would imagine most bars will be charging a premium as they have a captive market. Maybe not but that's always been my experience when big events are being held.
