I have to use up my last bits of holiday before the end of april so I've taken the 4 days off before easter so it gives me 10 days off (counting weekends) so that's not bad. Then back at work for 3 days then 4 days off. So I can live with that! I then have a full holiday year ahead! \o/

I booked these days off a month or two back.
I've got stupid amounts of holiday days at work this year - 61.5 I believe. 30 from my normal allowance and 31.5 days that I carried over from last year. |

Mine too! I thought I was late to the party in November

That's quite generous although not if you never get to take them off - at my work currently I can carry over 9 days to the next holiday year, anywhere I've worked previously only gave me about that available to carry over or I just lost the days. That does remind me though I've still got to take an extra couple of days off before the next holiday year comes round.

We only get to carry over a maximum of 5 days to the next year or we lose them.

I did suggest they'd give me a months salary in exchange for the carried over days but they didn't go for it. |

My holiday dates for next year were set in 1951. The fact they coincide is a very welcome coincidence.
We only get to carry over five days. Since I will be doing that, I end up with a 24 day holiday and 24 days left to take. |
