Now funny that you should say that.... I *think* my mum got one with her lappy. I'll have a hunt. If not then I have a cracked corporate version that you can put on there

Dont wanna go down that route dude. They'll get all sorts of WGA hassle which they just don't need, especially when they have a legit copy

Appreciate you looking

I'm pretty sure my CD is XP Pro, being as it's from a Lattitude and all that stuff. Sorry.

If it's a new laptop, I believe Dell now do this CD-less restore thing (which I despise, but there we are). Can't remember how it works unfortunately.

Ah, OK. That kind of crap (AOhell and all the rest). I just went on a mass uninstalling spree with my Parentals new PC. Nuking AOhell was the best bit.

Thank god they don't install quite so much on the Lattitudes.

My 820 was crystal clean bar Quickset, was very refreshing. Think all the x20 series are like that.

There seems to be a fair bit of clutter on my M1710, I don't know how much of that comes with the thing and how much was installed by the previous owner (I think a lot of it was the latter).

I spent 10 minutes searching for my CD before I remembered mine's MCE
