Best Christmas Songs
Just watching Christmas No 1s on TMF and Spice Girls had Christmas number ones in 1996 - 2 Become 1, 1997 - Too Much, and 1998 - Good bye.
Wow. Wish they would make a comeback tour as I didn't see them the first time round and am gutted about that, think they would have been good. Anyway what's your 'best' Christmas song? I'm waiting for the Bo Selecta one - that was funny, though I don't think it got to number one... BB x Last edited by BBx; 23-12-2006 at 19:17. |

I don't reckon there's anything to rival Fairytale of New York.
In fact, the only one I like nearly as much is Mariah Carey She was HOT back then.

All I want for Christmas is youuuuuuuuuuuuu.
I love it I can listen to it in June and it'll instantly put a smile on my face.

Just watched that on TOTP2 Christmas Special (made all the more special by my mum watching 3 Christmas songs in a row then saying something along the lines of "...is this a themed show?", I could swear I'm adopted sometimes ), anyway I'd never seen the video to realise exactly how bad it was, with him marching holding a rifle and singing about the cavalry.
Best Christmas song of all time has to be The Pogues and Kirsty McCall - Fairytale of New York, even if the only reason is that it doesn't bring out the homicidal urges that repeated listens to any other Christmas song does.
