From what I can work out from the trailer he's basically the night guard and everything in the museum comes alive during the night

Yeah, it is set over a few nights. Stiller is a divored guy with a kid (who lives with his mum and her new squeeze) who can't hold down a job. He wants his son to be proud of him and he gets a job as a night guard, leading to fun and games as he learns to control the stuff in the museum.
Anyway there is a twist which is sort of strange but explains itself as it goes along.
Steve Coogan and Owen Willson are great in it, Gervas isn't that good.
There were lot of laughs, i was still laughing when i got outside

There were lots of kids there they seemed to really enjoy it, the joke were funny to everyone. I think that the girls would like it.

That's surprising as i thought it was going to be Gash and just a rip of Jamangi (sp?)
I do like a good movie i must say, i'll rent it when it comes out.
