Marketplace Demos
I figured I'd try the marketplace demos today after only playing Moto GP. Well I downloaded a few including Prey, Condemned, Quake 4 and R6:Vegas. I was rather scared by Condemned but am thinking of checking out the proper game, has anyone played it??
The only other demo worth talking about was R6, I decided I'd play things on realistic (big mistake ) and the health system is very good how your view blurs when you are injured. Just checked out a review on ign and its' got a good score. There does seem to be a thing going on between this and gears, which personally I think is rather unfair as they are very different games in themes and styles. They both have cover systems and from reading the review I don't think either is better they work in their own way. Will certainly be having a crack at the demo more later on. Quake 4 and Prey got deleted after 2 minutes play So what other demos have you got that you really enjoyed? Is anyone waiting for the crackdown demo? I'm not entirely sure about it myself.

The reviewer of condemned said they screamed a few times I'm the sort of person who would scream too
Oh tried out the sonic demo it was rather weird playing in 3d as I kept falling off the course. Oh and I heard about you playing Sonic Pheebs

Leo, when I see you next week I'll happily loan you Condemned for a while, I've got it and don't see myself spending much time on it in the forseeable future
As for Rainbow 6, the online matches can be fantastic fun. Most of the matches are set for a time limit with respawns on, so even if you die a lot you're never just sat around waiting for the match to finish. I can show you that next weekend as well And as for other demo's, I download and try pretty much all of them. I only recently got around to playing the Amped 3 demo and enjoyed it so much I had the full game within 2 weeks

Quite a lot of people rave over Condemned but I couldn't get into it at all, seemed to slow to start with, plus it scared the crap out of me on more than one occasion. If I want to scare myself I'll just look at a picture of Davey.
Haven't tried too many demo's but one I did enjoy was Smackdown vs Raw 2007, but then I love most wrestling games. |

Condemned was one of the first demoes I downloaded. Yet I've never played it
And as it's dark and I've got an empty house to myself, I think I'll wait till daylight
