Back from hospital and I passed on lots of (gentle) hugs - the redness and swelling have gone down although it is still a largish area. The doc will have another look on his rounds tomorrow and will consider whether he can come home tomorrow or not - fingers crossed although I am cautious of a repeat of the Saturday night if he is not ready to switch back to an oral dose
