We got our last cat from the RSPCA. She was called Tilly but we didn't think it suited her. She was quite posh and only liked full fat milk/cream/salmon etc so she became Cleo as in Cleopatra (of course!).

Our home check went OK despite being on a fairly busy road. However our garden is enclosed and the gate would have stopped her getting out. She did manage it once and walked all the way to Morrisons' and back.

If we get another cat I want to call it Mubbles or Fubbles or something -ubbles.

Our cats have a variety of names

Murphy is; fatty, fat cat, ****bag, pussysqawt, catface, useless, the cat, your cat, shut up, it and Murphy

Stella is; small cat, your cat, smaller of two (<Voyager reference), catface, puss and various expletives.

Cmot responds best to Gorgeous while the others answer mostly to Splodge and Oi! (for when they're fighting)

Goggles is - Moggles, Mog, Cat, Bloody Cat, The Cat, Mrs, and Mrs Moo.

Chinchillas collectivley are The Chickens, Little Chickens, Little Sausages, Ickle Rickens.
Stitch is also Mister and Mister Stitch

Harry gets called by his full name if he's been bad, Harry Norris. And he does notice.
Otherwise he responds to the name 'Psycho'

I started calling him it when he was little when he was having a mad spell running round the house completely mental, and now he seems to quite like it
