I agree Karl. For cheap stuff that you're not in a hurry for they're great, but if you want something pretty quick then stay away from them.

I suspect thats the price for "Free Delivery" I prefer companies like Amazon who give the option for normal and express delivery. iirc Play does not do this

I may just stroll into town and exchange Tomb Raider Underworld and TFU at Game. I've never exchanged a game before - would they give me Left 4 Dead directly for those two, or would I be looking at throwing a few extra pennies at them?

I've never had much trouble with play, they always seem to take at most 4 days or so for a delivery to turn up. I ordered something on Saturday night and got an email to say it had been dispatched Sunday (I'm guessing they meant Monday) and it arrived today. Last few things i've ordered have been that quick, maybe it depends what it is.
I would have thought they'd want extra for it, trade in prices never tend to be as good as you'd like them to be. Try HMV, Gamestation and CEX too if you're able to, as trade in prices vary quite a lot

Me thinks play have bitten off more than they can chew, they have posted Saints Row 2 for the 360 but I still have 6 games at Packing and the ( Far Cry 2 (with Play.com Exclusive Steelbook) PS3) has changed to Far Cry 2 (PlayStation3) hmmm
Play are always slow, never had anything within a day or 2, last week Amazon sent me the wireless adapter in 2 days from ordering to getting to my door and that was free postage. |

Bit of a change, 20% off NOD32
http://www.eset.co.uk/enews/XmasVoucher.pdf I've been using this for like 5+ years, it's easily the best (small footprinit, low CPU usage, regular updates, cheap) AV I've come across. |

Play have always offered free delivery though and they used to be fantastic. I know many companies that offer excellent free delivery services, ShopTo for example are free Recorded delivery.
