Yep, mine too. I don't want to look like a children's TV presenter by folding them up and sometimes I wear heels, in which case they're the right length, so I ain't taking them up. Deal with it Dolly.

It's meant to be irrational, stop picking on me

I'm a midget too, so struggle with jeans. I'm on about those that are under their feet by like 3 - 4 inches, almost like they've done it on purpose.

That used to annoy me but then I decided to start messing with them, I'll send the read receipt on about half of the messages they request them for but I like leaving them guessing for the rest. I doubt they even notice but it stops me getting irritated by it so it's entirely worth it for me.

Haha, I don't see that one often thankfully but it's a perfect example.

I just set outlook to always provide the read receipt when i read an email, no hassle at all. It also automatically requests one on every mail i send too

I deliberately don't send read-receipts for e-mails which I'm going to reply to even if I won't be sending a reply for a while, but will send a read receipt if I won't be doing so.

Confuses people until they eventually twig what I'm doing.

People who feel the need to respond to threads about people who have died with 'Who?', 'Never heard of them' etc. Not only displaying their laziness and/or woeful inability to use Google but also showing their ignorance. Fair enough, you maybe haven't heard of them and don't care but why the need to announce it to everyone?

^^ This bugs me too. I never think ignorance is something to be proud of and it's certainly not a badge to wear to prove how cool you are because you've 'never heard of them'. More often than not it's a way of saying:

In actual fact, it makes you look like an IGNORANT COCK!

I've seen a couple of those threads and have thought 'Who?' so have gone into the thread to have a look. I don't think I've ever actually posted when I've done that though unless it was to say that I'd never actually heard of said person before seeing the thread but that they have achieved a lot or that it's sad that they have died. There are way to comment without coming across as such a tool.

Watching a film with someone, not even a complicated film. Could be something like 10 Things I Hate About You or even something even more basic like Die Hard...

"Who's that?"
"Whats he doing that for?"
"Why's he going in there?"
"What did he say?"

Are we watching the same thing?! God know what these people would be like with a vaguely complicated film like The Usual Suspects, Blade Runner, Memento, Reservoir Dogs or Twelve Monkeys.

Ah yes, I don't mind being asked questions so much except when it's also the first time I've watched the film, I've had precisely the same chance as them to figure out what's going on and I've managed it. The problem with them asking questions is that now I'll probably miss parts of the film which they'll still expect me to explain...
