So did anyone get one today? What do you think of it?

Burble did
One of the sales guys came to me with one to setup his Exchange email for him. It is nice and zippy, surprisingly so, but it's no quantum leap. Pretty much what was expected really.

First impressions? Good. The UI is very well polished. I've not really used it that much yet but so far I'm very pleased. |

I won't bother setting mine up for Exchange mail when I get it, simply because I definitely don't want to get work emails when I'm not there, and I don't use it anywhere else. I'll definitely be using it for my Gmail and Yahoo mail though.

My personal email lives on my Exchange box hence me wanting Exchange connectivity working I've not setup my Gmail account yet but it should just be a case of entering my username and password.

Yeah, I figured you did that I set up my Gmail once on my iPod Touch and it was simple, as you say just enter a username and password and you're sorted

Hmmmmmm Interesting
There seems to be a work around for tethering appearing on the net and its hardlyy complicated and requres no jail breaking the phone. The likelyhood is that 02 wouldn't be able to pick it up as long as your not using it for anything too excessive. To be honest this was a deal breaker for me, I don't use tethering for downloading a lot of data but sometimes I want to do something like PKR at lunchtime which I can't do over the work network but can use my phone for in which case tethering is ideal but I don't want to shell out £15/ month for it! Haven't looked into that at all but it'd certainly tick a box that wasn't previously ticked. I don't want to shell out more either. I think the biggest thing that still bothers me is going back to a virtual keyboard having enjoyed having a real one so much.
