I've not once had a problem with mine

Runs as smooth now as it always has, battery lasts a good 6 days and everything zips along, luverly jubberly

Cases are a very personal thing, I've got a SwitchEasy CapsuleNeo and it's great. It does add some bulk to the phone but I've dropped the phone several times and without the case the phone would be looking battered and bruised.

I just thought it was slow and buggy. Had Touchflo (I think) on mine and it was rubbish. Kept hanging all the time.
