Gave up on Guild Wars, it keeps crashing out, which is a pain when you're playing an MMO and you can't save

Bashing through the achievements in Scene It, not as much fun as it was at the LAN though. Need to get some friends round to play!

I found Fable in Game the other day so I'm giving that a go.

It's quirky but fun so far. Using the scroll wheel as a button is taking some getting used to though.

Over the weekend I've been playing three things - Fifa 09 Ultimate Team, Mass Effect, and the UFC Undisputed Demo.

I haven't played Mass Effect in a while, so decided to give it a quick go to get back into it. I started a new game on Hardcore difficulty with a new character, and it definitely is a decent jump in difficulty. Using cover is a must, as well as using your team effectively. I generally just let them do their own thing on my first playthrough, but I think they'll need to be ordered around more now. Completed Eden Prime and just about to land on the Citadel, so lots of fun to be had shortly there.

The UFC Demo is absolutely awesome. The game was only slightly on my radar before playing it, but it's now jumped to a must have game. The fight mechanics are excellent, with controls that are initially confusing (for the ground game at least), but after going through the tutorial and a few fights, they start to become more natural. It's the first fighting game I've ever played that have implemented flash knockouts perfectly. On several occasions I've caught my opponent with a knee or kick to the head as he was moving into it, knocking them straight out. Likewise, I've been on the wrong end of a few of them, especially on the harder difficulties where the AI will punish you for any loose attacks. The career mode sounds excellent as well, with a living, breathing organisation going on around you. I'm really looking forward to this now.

Fifa09 Ultimate Team is still as addictive as crack. Nothing more needs to be said there

My last playthrough of ME was on hardcore with an biotic, a few levels in I found it quite easy, as I could lift and throw everyone around so they couldn't fire back

I'll have to have another run through mass effect. I'm just starting to play Fallout 3 again. Is it worth getting the DLC early on or waiting till I'm quite away through the game?

If you get the DLC now all it does is add a couple of new quests to your PIP-Boy. It's completely up to you when you do those quests, assuming you do them at all. Neither is very long though I would probably suggest you are a skilled fighter before you attempt Operation Anchorage as it's fighting all the way, so if you're a rubbish shot you'll struggle through it.

Edit: Oh, and make sure you have plenty of room in your inventory before attempting either one, as you'll come back with lots of loot from both of them.

Secret Service on the 360 at the moment....bad bad game, but a good challenge. Enemies on the hardest difficulty go down in 5-6 shots....but so do you. You're on your own 90% of the game, and there's usually about 5-6 enemies per shhot-out, which is always fun. It does have auto-aim though, which is both good and bad, as headshots are easy....but not when you track the wrong guy.

Most of the levels are the same, infact, 4 of them iirc take place in one big long tunnel, with seemingly nothing different about them. However, if it were turned into one level, it'd be about 2 hours long.

Would probably stay away from this unless you want points.

Nah, just fancied playing something new as I was bored of my current games, and a lot of the easy games i've played have been quite fun, so it was worth a shot doing it again.

Ok maybe
