Anyone who has ever started a blog entry/thread title with 'So...'.
Example: 'So I was walking home from the STD clinic the other day...' To me that single word suggests that they think I've been sitting here on the edge of my seat just waiting for the next thrilling installment in their life, and that there's some kind of tacit knowledge of their general situation implied on my part. It also makes me think of self-indulgent 90s movies about relationships where people talk to the camera. Caring less would actually require distinct effort on my part. Irrational enough yet?

So...I do that all the time on my blog! (NB: NOT the STD bit) I don't mean that by it at all!
Mine for the day*: I HATE those adverts that say 'Tax doesn't have to be taxing'. SO WHY MAKE IT SO F**KING HARD THEN AND TREAT US LIKE WE'RE ALL TRYING TO CHEAT THE SYSTEM!!!!!WE'RE ONLY TRYING TO EARN A LIVING!!! GAAAHHHHh!! *this may be entirely rational. Even hearing Moira on the Chris Evans show is making me burn with rage at the moment

Exactly - it's my own irrationality making things up in my head.

I've just moved department at work (to Croydon - which I could quite rationally dislike) but the thing that's really bugging me right now is the absence of normal wastebins by the desks. For some reason that is completely obscure to me there's a couple of paper recycling bins but if you actually want to throw away anything else you've got to go to the kitchen or the toilets - I could almost understand if there were just three people in the office and the kitchen was a couple of metres away but there's at least 50 people per floor and 8+ floors so every time anyone wants to throw away something they've got to get up and move to the bin. Just thinking about the stupidity of it and wasted hours is actually irritating me now...

Pens where the lid doesn't fit on the bottom when you're using it.
