I'm quite liking the little Lancia Delta turbo. It got me a clear winning race with no penalties

If anyone is interested, I wrote a review up on my blog.
I'd paste it here, but it's around 4,700 words and it would just look ridiculous . http://www.nokkonwud.com/?page_id=41 Enjoy. |

I've only bought one car, the rest I've won through getting golds in all of the various events. You shouldn't really need to buy any, you can win enough to get you through almost any race.

The lack of tracks is the single biggest flaw in the game, and it is a massive oversight, just to re-iterate, how you can make a game with over 300 tracks and think that a low amount of tracks will go down well is beyond me Guess that should be cars. Pretty much agree with your review, I've spend the last couple of days "working" from home so have been playing it a lot and after ~20 hours of game time I am sick and tired of the tracks to the point that I am thinking of selling it on while I can still get a good price |

I just got stuck in a rut - It took me 45 minutes to win one race in the nasty dirty stinking V6 Clio because I kept losing it on the last corner.
Now I've come to a halt on the proving grounds. I assumed that I'd win enough cars to go through and be able to do all sections of it but apart from the final stage which needs level 10 (I'm on 9) there are two others I can't do because I've not got the right car. I thought I'd won all the races I've done so far in the proving ground.

Feek, I'm up to level 28 and I've still not done all the Proving Ground stuff yet as I've not got a car heavy enough to do the last challenge. I just went through the various sections doing the races I wanted (often because I wanted the bonus car) and going from there.

Oh, thanks a lot. I'll go change that now. Nice to see someone must have read it too. It was half the size of my dissertation(!), which is also on there if you fancy a read regarding my thoughts on creation of next-generation graphics and what it entails (along with an environment I made to accomodate those factors).

Davey, I'll send you the Aston Martin Vantage now. Might aswell grab the achievement points :P.
There is a 10k Acura car too for those cheaply inclined. Of course, I only found out about that after splashing 120k on the Aston. |
