Yeah my thoughts exactly!!! Should see what their rates are...

I have my gmail linked to update to my phone and I check FB every morning, if I'm navigator in the car I will check BD/GH and FB and I use googlemaps a lot.

So maybe!

The default data tariff is well over £1/MB, and might be £3/MB, so £1100 isn't actually that much data.

I complained about a Lucozade water bottle to GSK. They sent me an SAE for it, and in return sent me a new one along with some free hypotonic drink mixes

Didn't expect it, so anything was a bonus.

Orange accidentally charged me for 2 weeks when they swapped over to my new contract and they charged me about 150 quid and I hardly used it - just a bit of email/facebook/forums etc. Their rates are pretty awful for non-inclusive use.

About 5 years ago I noticed they didnt sell Easter Eggs with mugs anymore, so I wrote a humorous/tongue in cheek letter to the leading manufacturers, Nestle, Mars etc with a letter (slightly tailored to each)

http://marcelbooth.co.uk/m/misc/eastereggmugs.html

Nestle sent me a Nescafe mug
Mars sent me a 'Sorry we dont do them any more' letter
Whoever makes Bertie Bassets sent me a bertie basset mug. (Rowntree?)
And the fourth major one didnt even bother to reply I don't think.

They sell them now, and I like to think it was singlehandedly down to me and my letter

Bod, let me give you a hug, you poor, cruel-sister-having, mugless person. Well done you on getting through it and getting the mugs you deserve.

Thanks

It was a tough battle, but I can cope well with it now.
Some days are hard, but I muddle on of course
