I guess it's for the best, we don't want an unfinished product getting released, though I was hoping for it to be out this year. If it gets released at Easter next year I'll be taking a week off to play it

It did seem like Rockstar had a lot to do between now and October, so probably for the best to ensure the game matches the hype.

I'm kinda glad tbh. There's plenty in the release schedule already.

I do agree it's best for it to be released when it's finish just disappointed it's not coming out this year.

I dont know if anyone's been following it, but Universe At War is an RTS on PC and 360 - the first third party to use Games for Windows Live no less, supporting cross-platform multiplayer. Reasonably cool enough, but there's something else - with achievements:

Quote:
Where achievements, a Microsoft created gamerpoints system, simply provide bragging rights for gamers in most games, Universe takes a significantly different approach. In what is a first, they will actually have inherent worth in the game and obtaining them will actually give gamers real-world benefits. Unlocking different achievements will allow the gamer to wear "medals", each of which will provide various game bonuses including ability powerups in both single-player mode and multiplayer.
I like that a lot. Could be very cool

It'll be worth a look for me simply because I haven't played a decent RTS on the PC for ages, and playing one for achievements is even better.

FAO Whores - EA are pulling the online plug on some games, which actually include a couple of 360 ones:

FIFA Soccer 06
Madden NFL 06
NBA Live 06
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06

They appear to be the 360 games.
