I'll have a read through the review tomorrow. I'm currently working on a review for it on the site I now work with, but we generally keep the reviews to 1500-2000 words, so I'll have to be concise with it

Speaking of that, I did one of the endurance races yesterday, the class B race, and forgot to tune my Skyline before I started it, so I was actually the 4th more powerful car in the race. Thankfully after about 10 laps of near perfect driving I'd opened up a 10 second lead which was never clawed back. I would have hated crashing near the end of that and having to do it again :/

Heh heh, I'd be fuming after 28 laps although I think I did a lot more than that trying to win the race with that bloody Clio. I was 5.5 seconds in the lead half way round the final lap and lost it on the final corner.
That last sentence can be repeated about ten times, the only difference being the time ahead each time! Ho hum, off to work.

Had a few little races with Fakey last night. Set up a room with 8 cars, all reserved for friends only and any left were taken up by AI cars. Split us down into teams and had a few good races. You can really customize the whole multiplayer setup, it's great

I didn't get on till after midnight, was sorting stuff out on the pc till then. The multiplayer bits sounds good though, keeping out randoms and using AI instead is a great feature.

I am really loving this game.
it was great fun. I really do SUCK at the driving thing, just getting used to the wheel (its MY EXCUSE!!!!!) on my lap, instead of mounted. I only have one minor niggle. During the race, you can use the Live communication to chat etc. every now and then at the end of the race, that connection gets lost. it is only a minor niggle, but hey. I am off for a few days, but if you see me playing, send me a message, we can set up a game. |
