Aww she's being all weird... she won't lie down... and is just wondering around whining. You can play with her but she is a bit dosey and confused... she wags for a moment and then kinda gets confused then wonders off and whines!
poor baby! If only she'd zonk for half an hour she'd be fine! |

She's probably scared to go to sleep as last time she did she woke up in pain. She'll go eventually when she can't stay awake any longer.
At least you caught this hip problem early too, could have been terrible later.

I agree with Mel and Vix, both will effect her for a while, they did with my cat, it was horrible seeing him so vulnerable and not his normal self, but it will get better hun.
*hugs*

Now I know what it's like to come out of anaesthetic, I can understand what they are feeling too, I didn't have a clue where I was or what had happened when I first 'woke up', imagine being an animal and have that happen :/
When Goggles had her bits out, she was all dopey, but she tried to do her normal jump into the sink, and failed miserably. She was ever so confused. *hugs to Trio

When I came out from under mine the last time I was really very grumpy and irritable with the nurses apparently. I have no recollection of it but my mum was there. I kept trying to pull the oxygen tube out of my nose and pushing the nurses away when they tried to stop me.

She has whined... constantly... since getting her home.
We decided to have her sleep in the bedroom last night too to see if that helped settle her. All night she whined. I lie... she probably got about 2 hours sleep (intermittent). I got up about 3 times to take her to the garden (she had a poorly tum before going to bed so figured it could be that...) but yeh! *going slightly insane and a bit sad as I just don't know what to do to make her feel better* |

We've had dogs that have been knocked sideways for a couple of days after this sort of thing and others that have slept it off and been fine within a few hours.
If in doubt give the Vet a call. I'm sure she'll be fine though. |
