Personally I find greater challenge and reward in bouldering- I like climbing but haven't been in a harness for so long now I think i've forgotten how to belay!

I love climbing! I'm great at going up and useless at using a harness to get back down, but I'm fine if I can climb down! It's a control thing!

I've a terrible fear of heights so am using climbing and a few other sports to try and beat it!

You should join a club, there are lots of excellent places to climb outdoors in Wales. I have to drive 6 hours, whereas its on your doorstep

Don't need to - the ex takes me and the kids whenever we want to go! He has loads of harnesses and ropes and goes climbing in the Gower.

Not that I have any flipping time to do it anymore. Bah! Not done it for ages!

Are the three events related in some bizarre and obscure way, or mutually exclusive?

Exactly what I though when reading it.

I've never heard of anyone literally *****ing a brick, but I can imagine it could easily break a foot.
