Sally does a figure of 8 all the way. Annoying.

We have large rectangular pedal operated bins at work which are directly below the hand towel dispensers. People who use them to rest their paperwork/folders/handbags on while they go to the loo/wash their hands. Meaning I have to stand about with dripping wet hands until they see fit to move their crap. I really should just drip all over their crap and then throw my used hand towel on top.... but I'm too British....maybe one day I will go postal

Gloss.

No word can describe my utter hatred for the stuff. I frown constantly when glossing.

As you can tell so do I buuut unfortunately due to the staining, restaining, varnishing, painting, lead painting and more painting of my skirting boards and picture rails... I'd have gone through a shed load of nitromors to get it off. It was the "easiest" solution.

Which has still not been easy as I have had to use an aluminium base paint first as the staining kept coming through the gloss.

All the doors are being dipped and waxed up though! YAya!

I stripped every bit of wood out I could and replaced the lot when we moved in. Skirtings, architrave, doors, even the bannisters and stuff. I then sanded the door frames and what was left of the stairs back and stained them. a lot of work, but it means no gloss anywhere!! woohoo!!

There are 3 copies now available on shelves and still the one she requested for me is out to someone else.... marvellous. I gave up waiting and have started reading another book, if they haven't told me it's available by the time I finish this book I think I'll just request it again from a different library online myself (then no doubt they will both turn up at once!!).
