So..... running
I need a little advice on running. I've been reading an article that says that in order to do jogging as part of aerobic exercise (and hence fat loss) you should be able to maintain a conversation whilst jogging..... and I can't. No WAY can I talk to someone whilst jogging along. It gets me even more out of breath.
Do I need to slow down in order to get the best out of my jogging? It just doesn't seem right to cut down the effort for a bigger benefit. I know all the theory behind anaerobic and aerobic exercise because I've got a bloody biology degree.... but it still doesn't make sense that it's more effective to slow down. Help..???? Also, how do you pace yourselves? I'm no good at pacing when I'm not on a treadmill and tend to go too fast and run out of steam easily. I'd like to be able to run for an hour without stopping.
