Yup, it's always handy
Bit like CS in that respect except with CS I was always too shy to talk for some reason even though I'd met most of the guys I'm odd

I do find some people are more confident talking to others, me and Davey always communicate well together as does Colin. Though I do tend to communicate things and then do and die trying to do something on my own

Heheh, I had that problem a bit last night when it was you and Jen against me and Colin on the new maps. We'd split up as I knew you'd invariably go for the sniper rifle, and we thought Colin would be able to sneak up from behind. The only problem was trying to stay alive long enough for it to work

I'm starting to get used to talking more on gears, it felt a bit strange at first as I never used to play online much.

Still can't fully stop the "going solo" mentallity, as in "I'll just have a quick look around this......{headshot}" :undecided:

Funny thing was that I assumed you'd be going straight for it instead, but hey great minds I did wonder if you were going to do that so advised Jen if I could see Colin anywhere so we'd keep an eye out for each other and relay info and take you guys out.

I've have never played online before I got the 360 so it was certainly an interesting experience, it is now, however awesome

My next step is to be able to play online against random people and still talk. That's when shyness may kick in hugely

The only downside to Xbox Live is when you get lag, and when you get cheaters (they can ruin PES6 for me at times). However, against friends or decent randoms, playing online is indeed awesome

I quite like playing randoms and just listening to start with, but on games like Gears they can be quite annoying as you get the gun hogs legging it straight for the sniper/torque/boomshot and not giving anyone else a chance to use it. I played with randoms on the Fenix house map and one guy got the sniper 3 rounds in a row, and when I picked it up in round 4, he moaned "hey that's mine". My retort was pretty short and sweet: "shut up, it's for anyone to use". Thankfully I managed to get a headshot with it so I didn't make myself look stupid

Rainbow 6 is great online as you pick your weapons before you start so there's no problem with that, you just have to put up with annoying teammates from time to time.

That is the one thing that makes me wary of playing ranked matches is people being arseholes and hogging weapons. I can't remember where I heard it but someone said that team mates would actually kill their team members if they got the weapons first. Actually I think it was Colin. I thought this game was about team work and people working together.

Infact I've had an interesting tactic idea for Fenix house but I'm only going to share that with me team

That reminds me, Jay nearly killed me last night But to be fair to him he did revive me when he realised.

Strange question, but do you get points for reviving your team mate if it was you that shot him in the first place? No I won't do it, honest
